Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher to join our dynamic high school department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in Year 7-12, fostering a love for the subject, promoting critical thinking skills among our students, and the love of God.
 
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
– Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
– Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to enhance student understanding of mathematical concepts.
– Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
– Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate Mathematics across the curriculum.
– Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in Mathematics education.
– Nurture the spiritual well-being of the students.
 
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Teaching certification/license in Mathematics (or equivalent qualification).
– Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, with a track record of student achievement and engagement.
– Strong knowledge of the secondary Mathematics curriculum and proficiency in relevant teaching methodologies and technologies.
– Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
– Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment that celebrates equity and cultural competence.
