Qualification :
- Master/Bachelor’s degree in chemical/chemistry from reputable university within or outside Indonesia.
- Foreigner with Good Background Check are welcome
- Minimum 40 Years Old
- Able to speak and understand English and Indonesian (Language)
- Minimum 10 Years experience as a Lead RnD formulator (Practical) from adhesive industry experience or the Chemical Manufacturing Industry and/or Formulator.
- Having Managerial and Leadership capability .
- Has capability in developing new project innovation and lead creativity formulation within the team ( culture of  encourages new ideas, experimentation, and continuous improvement.are crucial).
- Experience in managing complex Project Management and strong in key internal and external stakeholder management ( presentation, communication & maintain relationship).
- Has experience directly with Quality / has some years of experience in managing customer complaint. 
- Familiar with relevant  Indonesia regulations  and compliance to SNI /product standard for a chemical product.
- Have experience in managing multi customers mostly in furniture or adhesive industry, chemical based will be an advantage. 
- Having Strong Project Management and Communication skills to support the alignment of R&D Department activities with overall business objectives, manage budgets, and make decisions. This includes presenting findings and recommendations to executives and other decision-makers.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as academic institutions, industry collaborators, suppliers, and customers.
- Familiar with relevant regulations in Indonesia and compliance with its standard.
Responsibility :
- Develop and implement the R&D strategy in alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in the chemical manufacturing sector.
- Lead the research and development efforts to create new chemical products or improve existing ones.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and test new formulations, ensuring they meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Review and improve production procedures on a regular basis to maximize output, cut expenses, and protect the environment. Use innovative techniques or technology to improve yields and streamline production.
- Create quality guidelines and protocols to ensure the dependability and consistency of the product. In order to guarantee adherence to industry standards and client requirements, supervise the testing and inspection procedures.
- Keep up with all applicable rules and regulations, such as those on product labeling, safety precautions, and environmental restrictions, that control the chemical manufacturing sector. Make ensuring that all legal and regulatory requirements are met by R&D activities and products.
- Effectively manage the R&D budget by assigning funds to high-priority projects and programs. Keep an eye on costs and performance indicators to make sure projects are completed on schedule and add value for the company.
- Create and oversee a high-achieving research and development team by offering direction, criticism, and chances for professional growth. Encourage a collaborative, innovative, and ever-learning culture in the department.
- Look for ways to work together with academic institutions, research groups, and business partners to take advantage of outside knowledge and resources. Encourage technology transfer programs to introduce novel concepts and breakthroughs to the market.
- Protect and manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. Work closely with legal counsel to secure intellectual property rights and defend against infringement.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the chemical manufacturing industry. Use market insights to inform R&D priorities and product development strategies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with R&D activities, including technical challenges, market volatility, and regulatory changes. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen obstacles and ensure project success.
