Job Title: Head of IT (Semarang, Manufacturing Industry)
About the Company:
Our client is an international apparel manufacturer with a workforce of more than 25,000 globally, with multiple factories within Indonesia and across China and Bangladesh. In view of their overall business strategy, they are currently in search to welcome a new Head of IT to be based in Semarang, Indonesia. 
About the Role:
As a Head of IT, your position is essential for designing and implementing robust IT infrastructure, and you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technological direction. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in IT leadership, strategic planning, and infrastructure management, ensuring seamless integration and operation of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and management of IT implementation projects.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy for the new regional hub, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Set up and manage IT infrastructure, including hardware, networking, and data management systems.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business needs and tailor IT solutions accordingly.
- Conduct groundwork in Indonesia factory to establish and streamline IT operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Manage and lead IT teams, providing direction and support to achieve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with international teams to integrate global IT practices and maintain consistency across regions.
- Monitor and address IT issues and challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading IT departments, with a strong background in managing implementation projects
- Experience in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is advantageous
- Demonstrated expertise in setting up and managing IT infrastructure, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working with multinational or international companies.
- Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, networking, and data management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to navigate and adapt to local regulations and business practices in Indonesia.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
