Currently, we are looking for a Bookkeeper interested to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
What You Will Do:
– Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
– Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
– Bring the books to the trial balance stage
– Perform partial checks of the posting process
– Complete tax forms
– Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
– Follow industry best practices
– At least 2+ years of working experience in a similar role
– A strong ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people from all backgrounds, at all levels including senior management
– A very high attention to detail
– An ability to understand and live the businesses values, as a key representative of the brand when communicating externally
– Willing to work according to Australian Time
