Job Description
- Proactively discover new clients that create business opportunities in Transport management ( for chemical manufacturing companies)
- Develop and implement logistics and transportation strategies aligning with the company’s commercial goals.
- Generate effective SOP – Workflow / Work Instruction – KPI for the team.
- Forecast future trends and demand to ensure logistics operations are scalable and cost-effective
- Optimize Transportation and distribution networks to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
- Continuously review and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency
- Develop & Maintain relationships with key suppliers & logistics service provider
- Develop & manage budgets for logistics and commercial operations.
- Manage vendor contracts, including negotiating terms, pricing, and service levels.
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 5-6 Years of experience in logistics and Sales Marketing.
- Experience in leadership roles managing logistics & commercial operations in a manufacturing company.
- Familiar with logistics or supply chain software is an advantage
- Problem-solving to handle logistics issues.
- Certifications will be advantageous ( CSCP/CPSM/ Process Improvement )
