Job Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Analyze current markets and identify potential suppliers for each category. Conduct audits and evaluations to ensure proposed suppliers are compliant, capable, and competent to serve Prym requirements.
- Understand textile manufacturing processes, raw materials, and industry trends to ensure efficient flow of materials from sourcing to delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles to maintain excellent quality standards.
- Implement/maintain inventory control systems and forecasting techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives through supply chain management.
- Ensure sustainable practices, including eco-friendly materials, ethical sourcing, and reduced environmental impact.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 05 years of experience in the Textile/Garment/Apparel industry, specifically in roles related to sourcing & procurement.
- Proven track record in optimizing supply chain operations, reducing costs, and improving delivery times, including supplier relationships and internal coordination.
- Experience in managing global supply chains, including international logistics, trade regulations, and customs procedures.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve supply chain challenges and bottlenecks.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Fluent in English is a must.
