General Overview
The Quality Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of dry paddy, brown rice, white rice, and rice bran across various locations in Central Java. This role requires a diligent and detail-oriented individual who can ensure that all products meet the specifications and standards required by our buyers. The Quality Specialist will also be involved in on-field quality checking and providing quality feedback to improve processes and product standards.
Roles and responsibilities
Quality Monitoring: Regularly monitor the quality of dry paddy, brown rice, white rice, and rice bran to ensure they meet the required specifications.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure consistency and compliance with buyer specifications.
Field Quality Checking: Conduct on-site inspections and quality assessments in various locations across Central Java.
Quality Feedback: Provide detailed quality feedback and reports based on field inspections to relevant stakeholders.
Specification Compliance: Ensure all products comply with the quality specifications provided by buyers and make necessary adjustments when deviations are identified.
Collaboration: Work closely with farmers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards and address any quality-related issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Science, or related field.
Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in the agricultural sector, preferably with paddy and rice commodities.
Strong understanding of quality standards and specifications for dry paddy, brown rice, white rice, and rice bran.
Ability to travel frequently across Central Java for field inspections.
Proficiency in using quality monitoring tools and software.
Mandatory English Proficiency: Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, is required to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
