Job Requirements :
- Proficient in Mandarin and Indonesian, both written and spoken knowledge of English is a plus
- Experience in translation, particularly in finance or business environments, is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in translations
Job Descriptions :
Financial Document Translation:
- Translate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgets from Indonesian/English to Mandarin and vice versa.
- Translate financial analysis documents, financial projections, and documents related to tax policies and regulations from Mandarin to Indonesian for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Translate procurement documents, business contracts, and payment agreements involving Mandarin-speaking partners.
Translator (Interpretation):
- Act as an translator during meetings or discussions between the local finance team and Mandarin-speaking managers, shareholders, or auditors.
- Accompany the finance team when presenting reports or conducting presentations to Mandarin-speaking management.
- Facilitate verbal communication during technical discussions related to financial analysis, budgeting, or financial policies between local teams and Mandarin-speaking partners.
Financial Reporting and Translation:
- Assist in compiling and translating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for presentation to Mandarin-speaking management or shareholders.
- Translate daily, weekly, or monthly financial information from the finance team to Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, including budget analysis and expenditure results.
Audit and Compliance Support:
- Support internal and external audit processes involving Mandarin-speaking teams by translating audit documents, tax reports, and relevant compliance regulations.
- Assist in communication between Mandarin-speaking auditors and the local team to understand audit procedures and financial compliance standards.
Budgeting and Financial Policy Translation:
- Translate budgeting instructions, financial policies, and strategic planning documents provided by Mandarin-speaking management to the local finance team.
- Ensure that all financial policies communicated in Mandarin are clearly understood and correctly implemented by the finance team.
External Partner Communication:
- Translate written communications, including emails, correspondence, or financial contracts, between the finance team and Mandarin-speaking partners or suppliers.
- Support negotiation processes or discussions related to finances, payments, and business contracts involving partners from China.
Financial Training and Orientation:
- Assist in translating financial training materials for local employees who require documents in Mandarin and vice versa.
- Accompany local employees during financial training sessions conducted by teams or instructors from China, ensuring training materials are comprehensible.
