Description
- Create and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the specific needs of the area.
- Identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies to meet sales targets and business objectives.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives.
- Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
- Address customer needs and resolve issues to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
- Oversee the implementation of sales campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities within the area.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
- Ensure all sales activities and practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Stay updated on changes in pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Monitor individual and team performance against set targets and KPIs.
- Implement corrective actions and strategies to address performance gaps and drive improvements.
Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations.
- Ability to analyse data and develop actionable insights.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic and competitive environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
