Description
- Lead and manage the Sewing, Cutting, Packing, Technical, and Industrial Engineering (IE) teams to ensure a productive, efficient, and positive work environment aligned with the Factory’s operating plan.
- Oversee garment production processes, ensuring that customer specifications regarding quality, timeliness, and quantity are met within cost and performance expectations.
- Implement and monitor production systems such as 7 Mudas / 7 Wastes, Six Sigma, and other best practices for operational excellence.
- Analyze production documents (e.g., MO, OPN) and ensure accurate and timely execution of production orders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Manage team performance, provide leadership, and foster an environment of collaboration and growth through effective training, problem-solving, and team-building activities.
- Ensure compliance with all country, customer, and company policies, including ethical standards, codes of conduct, and environmental considerations.
- Facilitate open communication across all levels of the production team, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Profile
- Degree in any major, preferably Industrial Engineering or Production Management (Textile & Apparel).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- In-depth knowledge of sewing processes in the garment industry, especially underwear.
- Ability to read and understand production documents (MO, OPN, etc.).
- Expertise in garment production processes.
- Understanding of business analysis related to production.
- Familiarity with production management systems (e.g., 7 Mudas / 7 Wastes, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
