Job Description

As the Area Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations within your designated area, ensuring achievement of sales targets and growth objectives. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead a team of sales representatives, provide guidance and support, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and market share.

Cover area: Central Java.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree with minimum experience 5 years
  • Proven experience in sales &amp distribution management, preferably in the [specify industry or market] 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of driving sales growth.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions (computer literacy)
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required.

What do we expect from you?

  • Manage distributor relationships, including opening and replacing distributors as needed.
  • Set and monitor sales targets (both sell-in and sell-out) and establish daily sales call plans for exclusive visits to outlets.
  • Collect purchase orders from distributors and monitor their stock levels.
  • Implement wall reports, conduct field checking, and provide field coaching for the sales team.
  • Conduct daily briefings with the sales team and distributor supervisors, and lead monthly meetings with the sales team, supervisors, and operational managers. Report to the Area Sales Manager.
