We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and guide financial decision-making. The role involves managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law, financial and tax regulations.
- Work with management to share reports and analysis findings.
 
Qualifications:
 
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager.
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
- Proficient user of finance software. Especially on ERP such as Odoo
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and understanding of agile culture is a plus, indicating the ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments and to foster a flexible and collaborative team dynamic.
