Job Description:
Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for science? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher for our junior high school. The ideal candidate should possess a strong science background, excellent communication skills in English, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with Kurikulum Merdeka
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to the school’s academic community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest educational trends and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Science background with a focus on junior high school level subjects.
- Teaching certification and/or relevant teaching experience.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
