Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented 3D Modeler with a strong proficiency in Blender or 3Ds Max, Substance Designer, and Unreal Engine to create high-quality 3D models of our products for various purposes, including marketing, product development, and virtual environments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent modeling skills, and the ability to bring our furniture designs to life through realistic and visually captivating models and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, detailed 3D models of Bloom Outdoor Furniture’s product lines using Blender or 3Ds Max.
- Develop realistic materials and textures using Substance Designer to achieve true-to-life product visuals.
- Work closely with the design and marketing teams to visualize new furniture concepts and create models for promotional materials, catalogues, and online platforms.
- Implement models into Unreal Engine to create immersive virtual environments and interactive product showcases.
- Optimize models for real-time applications and ensure smooth performance in Unreal Engine for use in VR/AR applications or web-based environments.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that 3D assets align with product specifications and brand standards.
- Maintain a well-organized library of 3D assets, materials, and textures for future use.
- Stay current with the latest 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering techniques to continuously improve product visualization quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a 3D Modeler with an impressive portfolio showcasing high-quality models and textures.
- Expertise in Blender or 3Ds Max for 3D modeling and rendering.
- Proficiency in Substance Designer for creating realistic materials and textures.
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine, particularly for product visualization and real-time rendering.
- Knowledge of UV mapping, rigging, and lighting to enhance model presentation.
- Understanding of optimization techniques for creating assets used in real-time environments like VR/AR.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a design-focused environment and take feedback constructively.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning, photo-realistic models.
- Good communication skills to explain design concepts and technical details to non-technical team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the furniture, home décor, or consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of animation techniques for creating simple product demonstrations or interactive models.
- Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) projects.
- Familiarity with CAD software for importing and adapting product designs into 3D environments.
