Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced accounting and tax professional to lead and manage our company’s accounting and tax team.  In this role, you will provide overall  support and work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to help .
This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting and tax standards,  managing the day-to-day activities of a small accounting and tax tea, assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and tax returns,  and managing relationships with external auditors and tax authorities. 
Responsibilities. 
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting and tax department including:
- month and end-year closing and reporting process
- Cash receipts and disbursements
- accounts payable/receivable
- general ledger
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- capital assets reconciliations
- fixed asset activity
- debt activity
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on tight filing deadlines. 
- Enforcing compliance with proper accounting methods, policies and principles – in compliance with both Group accounting policies and PSAK for both internal reporting and statutory reporting in Indonesia. 
- Process tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Coordinate and assist in management of annual internal and external financial audits and tax audits. 
- Oversee the maintenance of fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Perform adhoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making
- Perform other accounting and tax duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- Brevet A & B tax qualifications 
- Prior experience in a similar role (e.g. Accounting Manager,  Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager), including experience in managing a small team of personnel. 
- Prior experience in managing a tax department / corporate tax filing obligations. 
- Excellent analytical skills, and possess high attention to detail and accuracy. 
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- English language skills a must
- Prior Multinational and/or Manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential
