As the Compensation and Benefit Manager, you will manage and oversee the whole remuneration programs, ensuring they align with company’s objectives and market standards. Your expertise will be essential in developing compensation strategies, managing benefit programs, driving performance management, and identifying continuous improvements to maintain compliance and competitiveness.

Description
- Design, develop, and implement strategic remuneration strategies aligned with the company’s long-term objectives and growth plans.
- Ensure full compliance with current human rights laws and pay equity regulations across all Compensation & Benefits initiatives.
- Conduct regular analyses of industry compensation trends and benchmarks to maintain competitive pay structures and enhance employee retention strategies.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for salaries, bonuses, and benefits, ensuring alignment with financial targets and organizational priorities.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory requirements, including meticulous handling of income tax calculations.
- Optimize the functionality and utilization of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to streamline data management, reporting, and analysis for informed decision-making.
- Develop and refine comprehensive rewards and recognition programs in collaboration with HR leadership, designed to reinforce company values, boost employee morale, and drive performance.
- Stay updated on legislative changes, regulatory updates, and industry best practices related to compensation, benefits, and rewards management, integrating these insights into strategic planning and policy development.
Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Mathematics, Psychology, or Management, providing a strong foundation for analytic and strategic responsibilities.
- Possesses over 10 years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective remuneration strategies.
- Brings industry-specific expertise, preferably within Power Plant, Mining, Heavy Equipment, or Manufacturing sectors, ensuring familiarity with sector-specific challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Remuneration Management, Reward/Benefit Management, Job Analysis, Job Evaluation, and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), leveraging these skills to optimize compensation structures and processes.
- Excels in conducting comprehensive market analysis, benchmark studies, and financial forecasting, ensuring competitive and compliant compensation and benefits programs.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, skilled in working with cross-functional teams and senior management to design and implement strategic compensation and benefits initiatives that align with organizational goals and drive employee engagement.
