Our factory is located in Semarang, Central Java, manufacturing high quality of furniture products for both export and local markets. To support our expansion, we are looking for high talented candidate to manage our Export/Import activities. Following below are the job profile of the candidate we are looking for:
EXIM Specialist
- Qualifications :
- Education Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any major, preferably in logistic.
- Additional certifications in customs, export/import, or international trades can be beneficial.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experiences in export-import operations, logistics, or international trade.
- Solid experienced in importing steel and/or fabric is a key factor.
- Strong knowledge of export-import regulations, customs documentation, and HS code.
- Strong understanding of managing export-import processes end to end.
- Has good network with Government and Industries. Registered as Exim Officer associate member.
- High attention of detail in handling documentation or reports.
- Strong communication skill and interpersonal skill.
- Proficient in writing and speaking English.
- Willing to be placed in Semarang.
- Role & Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for export-import matters.
- Oversee all export-import processes, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of goods internationally.
- Handle documentation of all export-import processes (prepare, review, approve).
- Responsible in resolving customs or shipping related issues.
- Implement changes in response to market shifts or regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, marketing, finance, supply chain) to ensure smooth operations.
- Report regularly to senior management on export-import processes and updates.
- Identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed.
