Responsibilities:
– Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
– Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and manage the plant’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on budget deviations.
– Cost Management:
Oversee cost accounting and ensure accurate product costing.
Manage working capital and ope ration cash flow by tracking transactions also controlling, monitoring, and analyzing operational and financial processes.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
– Internal Controls and Compliance:
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
– Strategic Planning:
Support plant management in strategic decision-making.
Provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth and efficiency.
Qualifications:
•Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
CA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is a plus.
•Experience:
Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 4 years in similar position as finance controller.
Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management.
•Skills:
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytic skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
