About the role
As the Footwear QA Manager at Deckers International HK Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our footwear products. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance within our footwear manufacturing processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and implementing comprehensive quality control strategies to meet product standards and customer requirements
- Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods to identify and address any quality issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and sourcing, to continuously improve quality and efficiency
- Providing detailed reporting and analysis to leadership on quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives
- Driving continuous improvement through the identification and implementation of best practices and innovative quality assurance methods
- Mentoring and training quality assurance personnel to enhance their skills and capabilities
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the footwear or apparel manufacturing industry
- Thorough understanding of quality control processes, testing methods, and international quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of quality management software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, manufacturing, or quality management
