As General Manager of Operations for a construction company, you will be responsible to oversee the day to day business of construction company, including business development, planning, and delivering projects in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner. This job will be based in Central Java
Client Details
Our client is a construction company based in Central Java with portfolio including buildings and infrastructure projects all across the countries.
Description
- Direct and manage all construction operations, from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Oversee multiple construction projects, monitor progress, and resolve any issues that arise to ensure smooth and efficient project execution
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to foster high-performance teams. Provide guidance and support in solving complex construction challenges
- Develop and manage project budgets, closely monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures to meet financial targets
- Serve as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Address client concerns and provide regular updates on project progress
- Develop and present operational reports, including progress, financial performance, and risk analysis, to the executive team. Utilize these insights to drive continuous improvement across all projects
Profile
- Minimum 10 years in a management role in construction industry, with experience in a General Contractor company.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
- Experience managing large-scale projects with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage a large workforce.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
- In-depth knowledge of construction laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to solve complex operational problems and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Willing to be placed in Central Java
