Your Role

Your responsibilities will cover data administration and data analysis. Using a variety of tools (including ESRI suite), you will support Earthworm&nbspFoundation’s impact measurement of field work, implemented across the globe, and you will help to maintain and manage an ever-growing database used for global reporting.&nbspYou will be asked to address limitations and challenges related to local field data collection, and you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions for data collection and project implementation. The role also includes aligning surveys with project log frames, customizing questions for specific projects, and collaborating with regional impact leads to ensure survey design alignment.

  • GIS Data Management: You will oversee GIS data management. Responsibilities include performing GIS data querying and conducting secondary quality control checks on centralized data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Data Storage, Manipulation, and Quality Control: You will automate calculations for outcome/impact level indicators and produce ad-hoc data queries focused on defined indicators and survey data.&nbsp
  • Dashboard Creation and Project On-boarding: You will develop dashboards for project and global teams to aid in project management and reporting. You will also create the required ESRI environment for projects to move from manual to digital data collection and analysis.&nbsp
  • ESRI Point of Contact: You will manage ESRI licenses and control user access, while also providing necessary support to users. Ensuring that all ESRI-related needs are met efficiently and effectively will be a key responsibility.

To excel in this role, you should be detail-oriented, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in all aspects of your work.&nbspWith strong analytical skills for processing and interpreting geospatial data, you enjoy problem-solving to derive meaningful insights. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, are key for clearly presenting technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders and writing detailed, easy-to-understand technical manuals.&nbspYou are flexible and adaptable,&nbspwhich will be a great asset in your work with various tools and&nbspto&nbsprespond unique local field data collection challenges.&nbsp

Being a proactive team player with a collaborative attitude is crucial, as you’ll work closely with regional impact leads and other team members. Requirements – Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent higher level training in data management, supply chains, environmental management, GIS.
2-4 years minimum of relevant professional working experience.

Language skills

  • Bahasa Indonesia and English proficiency

Location

  • Based in Semarang, Indonesia or Quito, Ecuador (Citizenship or&nbspPermit required)

Other information

  • Full-time position
  • Fixed long-term local contract (12 &nbspmonths)
