QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications
- Min 2 years of experience in payroll processing and administration.
- Familiarity with payroll software and HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other data management tools.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with employees.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Compensation Benefits
- Conduct market research to benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards.
- Analyze job descriptions and evaluate positions to determine appropriate compensation levels.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure that benefits offerings are competitive and comply with legal requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation and benefits policies.
- Review and update compensation structures and benefit plans as necessary.
- Communicate compensation and benefits information to employees effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their compensation and benefits options.
- Prepare reports on compensation and benefits metrics for management.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
- Make recommendations for improvements based on employee feedback and market trends.
HR Payroll
- Prepare and process payroll on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate wages, bonuses, and deductions according to company policy and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee hours, pay rates, and benefits deductions.
- Update employee information in the payroll system as necessary.
- Generate payroll reports for management, including labor costs and overtime analysis.
- Provide necessary documentation for audits as required.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax issues.
- Identify opportunities for improving payroll processes and efficiencies.
