Injection Molding Manager Production Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the injection molding department to ensure efficient production, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and motivate the production team to achieve production targets and quality standards.Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and production flow.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and production deadlines.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product consistency and compliance with customer specifications.
- Conduct regular quality audits and address any quality issues promptly.
- Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements, material sourcing, or waste reduction.
- Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Recruit, train, and develop a highly skilled and motivated production team.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- College degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in injection molding production, preferably in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and achieving production targets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills,excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
