About the role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team at PT SUMMIT TRAVEL GOODS’ in Jepara, Central Java. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our organisation’s operations, compliance with policies and procedures, and the reliability of our financial reporting. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our company.
What you’ll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive audits of our company’s financial, operational, and compliance processes
- Identifying and evaluating potential risks, and recommending appropriate control measures
- Preparing detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, and providing practical recommendations for improvement
- Collaborating with management to implement audit recommendations and monitor corrective actions
- Staying up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Providing guidance and training to employees on internal control procedures
- Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal audit function
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal auditing or a related role, preferably in the management consulting or change management industry
- Thorough understanding of audit principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficiency in data analysis, risk assessment, and report writing
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
- Willing to work at Jepara
