PT Trina Mas Agra Indonesia is looking for high potential candidates to be employed as Mandarin Technical Translator with the following details:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Engineering, or a related field.
- Willing to work in Kendal, Central Java
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and fluency in English.
- Proven experience in technical translation, particularly in the solar PV manufacturing industry.
- In-depth understanding of factory operation processes, terminology, and best practices in the solar PV manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with technical documents, such as operation manuals, specifications, and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with technical experts and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in translating complex technical information.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high translation quality.
- Knowledge of translation tools and software is preferred.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities.
Job Description:
- Translate technical documents, including operation manuals, process guidelines, specifications, and safety protocols, from Indonesian or English to Mandarin Chinese and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and consistency of terminology.
- Collaborate with technical experts, engineers, and subject matter specialists to understand complex manufacturing processes and terminology, clarifying any ambiguities or discrepancies in the source material.
- Provide linguistic and technical expertise during the translation process, ensuring that translated content accurately conveys the intended meaning and adheres to industry standards.
- Research and verify technical terms, acronyms, and specialized terminology to maintain consistency and precision in translations.
- Review and edit translated documents for grammar, style, and formatting, ensuring readability and adherence to established guidelines.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to prioritize translation tasks, meet project deadlines, and address any challenges or issues that arise during the translation process.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information and proprietary documents.
- Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to the solar PV manufacturing sector, incorporating new knowledge into translations as necessary.
- Provide support for cross-functional teams, such as quality assurance, engineering, and production, by facilitating effective communication and understanding of technical documentation across language barriers.
