Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Mandarin and Indonesian, both written and spoken knowledge of English is a plus.
- Experience in translation, particularly in technical or production environments, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in translations.
Job Descriptions:
Technical Document Translation:
- Translate technical documents related to production processes, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, machine specifications, and production reports from Indonesian/English to Mandarin and vice versa.
- Translate machine maintenance guides, equipment manuals, and safety procedures from Mandarin to Indonesian for operational needs.
Translator (Interpretation):
- Serve as an oral translator between local employees and Mandarin-speaking managers/supervisors during meetings, technical discussions, and production gatherings.
- Accompany technicians and workers on the production floor to facilitate direct communication between local staff and experts/technicians from China.
- Assist in technical training sessions delivered in Mandarin, translating materials or instructions for local employees.
Daily Communication Support:
- Provide daily communication support between local production teams and Mandarin-speaking supervisors/managers.
- Translate daily work instructions, changes in production schedules, or technical needs in real-time on the production floor.
Production Report Preparation:
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, or monthly production reports in Mandarin based on data provided by the local production team.
- Translate production performance reports for presentation to Mandarin-speaking management.
Training and Orientation:
- Help translate training materials related to production procedures, workplace safety, or machine operations from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa.
- Accompany local employees during technical training conducted by instructors from China to ensure proper understanding.
Safety Instruction Translation:
- Translate workplace safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and production safety regulations from Mandarin to Indonesian to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support the implementation of safety practices on the production floor involving Mandarin-speaking labor.
