Qualifications & experience
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Linguistics, Chinese Language or related field.
- Relevant certifications in translation, minimum HSK 4.
- Deep understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt translations accordingly.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills with an excellent command of grammar, syntax and idiomatic expressions in both languanges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to handle diverse translation projects.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Translate a variety of documents, including emails, reports, presentations, technical spesification and legal contracts from Mandarin Chinese to Bahasa and vice versa.
- Interpret conversations, meetings and discussion accurately and impartially, maintaining confidentiality and neutrality.
- Assist in development of bilingual training materials and resources to promote cross-cultural understanding and communication.
- Collaborate closely with various departments including HR, production and management to support the integration of Chinese and Indonesian Teams.
- Provide language support during on-site visits, meeting and audit conducted by Chinese Team.
