About The Company:
- The working venue is in Kendal.
- Our client is a Multinational Manufacturing company. Currently, they are looking for Production Manager (Fiber).
Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safe production, promote and implement relevant specific inspections, publicity, rectification and other related tasks.
- Organize and formulate the company’s production development plan, formulate production strategies, set up the work goals of the production system.
- Determine the production process and core production steps supervise the smooth operation of production processes, production design, progress, quality, storage and transportation.
- Carry out quality management and combine it with its own performance to manufacture products that meet the customers’ needs.
- Formulate all systems, procedures and regulations of the department review various application and approval documents and various notices of the department, and strictly implement, inspect, supervise and control.
- Insist on reducing costs and controlling waste as the focus of work, and continue to improve control the daily production situation of the workshop, seek improvement, and increase production efficiency.
- Pay attention to the cultivating of reserve talents and team building in production management, strengthen training, and provide qualified talents to meet the the company needs.
- Improve the level of workshop on-site management (5S) and implement effective improvements in department personnel echelon construction and management quality improvement.
- Follow up the monthly inventory and cost analysis meeting involving the work that the production department should carry out.
- Follow up the implementation of the company’s information, intelligent, and lean management requirements.
- Carry out coordination among various departments to ensure the smooth progress of all work related to market demand orders.
- Implement the assessment and incentive work for direct subordinates and various departments, and keep improve it.
- Provide suggestions for improvement in the company’s management, technology, quality improvement, on-site management, system operation, internal communication. .
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Hold Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Business English proficiency (able to communicate fluently for Technical discussions to expats).
- Min. 3 years of experience as Production Manager in Cable Manufacturing company with at least 5 years of production experience in manufacturing company (with understanding or familiarity with optical fiber or optical cable products).
- Preferably has working experience in optical cable company.
- Excellent management skill, communication skill, decision making ability, independent problem solving skills, 5S management literacy.
