About The Company:
- The working venue is in Kendal.
- Our client is a Multinational Manufacturing company. Currently, they are looking for Production Manager (Optical Cable).
Job Responsibilities:
- Formulate optical cable production plan according to company orders and production needs to ensure that production tasks are completed on time.
- Coordinate and allocate production resources to ensure that production capacity matches demand.
- Supervise the execution of each link of production to ensure the standardization and smooth operation of the production process. Responsible for solving unexpected problems and abnormal situations in production to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the production process.
- Implement the quality management system to ensure that the optical cable products meet the quality requirements of the company and customers.
- Analyze the quality problems in production, formulate and implement improvement measures, and continuously improve product quality.
- Control production costs, optimize process flow, improve production efficiency, and reduce raw material and energy consumption to achieve cost savings and maximize benefits.
- Manage and maintain production equipment to ensure the normal operation of equipment and the safety of production.
- Cooperate with the equipment management department to formulate and implement equipment maintenance and troubleshooting plans.
- Daily management of the production team, personnel allocation, skills training and performance evaluation, improve the overall quality and work efficiency of the team, and create a positive working atmosphere.
- Strictly implement production safety rules and regulations to ensure the safety of the production process and prevent safety accidents.
- Regularly carry out safety education and training to improve employees’ safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.
- Continuously optimize production processes, promote the application of automation and information technology, improve production efficiency and production management level.
- Collect and analyze production data, prepare production reports, and provide decision support for company management summarize production conditions, identify improvement opportunities and make recommendations.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Hold Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Business English proficiency (able to communicate fluently for Technical discussions to expats).
- Min. 3 years of experience as Production Manager in Cable Manufacturing company with at least 5 years of production experience in manufacturing company.
- Preferably has working experience in optical cable company.
- Excellent management skill, communication skill, decision making ability, independent problem solving skills, 5S management literacy.
