About the role
As a remotely working Purchase Manager at Ask Global, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of our operations in the Middle East. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and supplies to support our production goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to secure the best products at competitive prices
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Oversee the procurement process, from identifying requirements to processing purchase orders and managing inventory levels
- Analyse purchasing data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with broader business objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the industrial engineering sector
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
- Proficient in data analysis and the use of procurement-related software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
