Deskripsi Pekerjaan
Key Role and Responsibility :
- Supervise and maintain good management of procurement activity at the company according to the company policy and procedures, comply with all applicable law and regulations.
- Fulfill purchasing needs related to indirect materials according to company needs and achieve company procurement targets.
- Negotiating with sellers to find the best sales price, including bid prices and negotiation techniques.
- Acquiring information about an item’s condition, type, rarity, or value.
- Acting as a point of contact for suppliers and managing day to day supplier relationships, including service, delivery, quality, billing issues and supplier evaluations.
- Managing purchase order actions such as reschedules, cancellations, expedites, and confirmations to ensure on time delivery.
- Good understanding and experienced export import regulations, customs clearance and taxes according to the procurement activities.
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure proper communication and understanding of procurement needs and specifications.
- Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies.
- Assisting in the preparation of budget reports and presenting cost analyses to management for decision making purposes.
- Aware of the importance of occupational health and safety and protecting the environment.
Skill, Abilities & Characteristic :
- 5 Years experience in the same position.
- Fluent communication in English (Mandarin will be an advantage).
- Purchasing, inventory and distribution management skills.
- Knowledge of the relevant product sector.
- Managerial abilities and budgeting, forecasting and cost control skills.
- Analytical skills Evaluating different suppliers and product options is an integral part of the buyer’s role.
- Strong Negotiation skills and ability to close business transactions.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures relating to purchase orders.
- Knowledge of Import & Customs process, including HS Code.
- Product Development with Development/Production team.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with key suppliers.
- High Integrity.
