As a Quality Control (QC) Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control within our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and maintaining the QC Laboratory, including the Microbiological Laboratory, in accordance with GMP requirements, regulations, and company policies.
- Ensuring adherence to quality practices and international standards such as GMP, GDP, ISO, PIC/S, etc.
- Maintaining regulatory compliance and inspection readiness in all QC activities, including the approval or rejection of starting materials, packaging materials, intermediates, bulk, and finished products.
- Approving specifications, sampling instructions, test methods, and other quality control procedures.
- Managing contract analysis, qualification & maintenance in QC premises & instruments, and appropriate validations.
- Overseeing the training and development of QC personnel, ensuring all training is relevant and up-to-date.
- Handling regulatory and customer audits, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Participating in management reviews of process performance, product quality, and the Quality Management System, advocating for continual improvement.
- Ensuring effective communication and escalation processes to address quality issues promptly.
- Performing any other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications:
- A Pharmacist degree with a Pharmacist Practitioner License.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a Quality Control Laboratory, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- A self-driven attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
