PT Uwinfly Indonesia Industries is seeking an experienced and visionary Quality Control Director to lead our team in ensuring the highest quality standards are applied to every aspect of our production processes. This strategic role is crucial for maintaining product quality and enhancing factory efficiency according to the 6S methodology.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control strategies to ensure all raw materials and finished products meet company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality plans into the overall business strategy.
- Establish and maintain quality benchmarks and performance indicators, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead initiatives to reduce defects and enhance product reliability, aiming for zero reject rates in market feedback.
Indicator Management:
- Oversee the execution and monitoring of quality indicators across production processes, ensuring all activities align with established standards.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Drive the implementation of new technologies and methods to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Equipment Management:
- Manage the plant maintenance department to ensure all machinery and equipment are operating efficiently and safely.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance equipment longevity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
- Lead efforts to upgrade equipment and processes, staying ahead of technological advancements in the industry.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the quality control team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
- Encourage innovation and best practices within the team to enhance overall performance.
- Collaborate with other directors and senior management to align quality control objectives with broader company goals.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports and improvement plans to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards and certifications.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality of incoming materials.
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in quality control or production.
- Deep understanding of 6S methodology and its application in a factory environment.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage teams.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
