Job Overview :
Overseeing the production process to ensure that all steps meet quality and safety standards.
Job Description :
- Inspect incoming fish for quality, size, and condition upon arrival.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, noting any discrepancies or quality issues.
- Collect samples from each batch of fish for further quality testing.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to resolve any issues related to the quality of received fish.
- Ensure all received fish meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Fisheries, or a related field.”
- Min. 2 years of working experience in the same position
- Food Science, Fisheries, Audit, & Certification
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in the seafood industry.
- In-depth knowledge of fisheries processing methods, standards, and best practices
- Keen eye for identifying quality issues.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Basic English, both written and verbal “Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams ”
- Proficient in maintaining detailed and accurate records.
