JOB OVERVIEW:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing sales activities within your assigned territory. Your primary objective will be to achieve and exceed the total sales budget while implementing sales plans and strategies aligned with the national strategy. You will also be tasked with investigating customer and end-user complaints, maintaining relationships with the marketplace, and ensuring effective database management and forward planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Achieve and exceed the total sales budget set for the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies that align with the national strategy and objectives.
- Investigate all customer and end-user complaints promptly and take or recommend appropriate actions to address them.
– Maintain strong relationships and communication with the marketplace to stay updated on all pertinent information related to the JSG product range.
- Ensure accurate and organized database records for effective forward planning and analysis.
- Manage RAC (Revenue, Acquisition, and Conversion) planning, account management, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) opportunity funnel.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and strategies.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
– Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales management, preferably in a similar industry or territory.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team towards achieving goals.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
– Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
– Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
– Result-oriented with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and driving revenue growth.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
