Deskripsi Pekerjaan
Job Description:
• Receiving purchase requests and evaluating them against set budgets.
• Creating purchase orders as needed.
• Negotiating prices and supply contracts to improve the company’s position and reduce cost
• Evaluating alternative vendors or products to increase the company’s benefit.
• Making decisions regarding choice of vendor, item, price, and specs.
• Completing purchases with accurate specs, in a timely manner, and at the lowest cost possible.
• Making sure all the required documents are in order.
• Creating and maintaining professional and friendly relationship with suppliers.
• Reviewing and evaluating vendors and suppliers to maintain and update list of suppliers.
• Maintaining delivery schedule and coordinating with other departments/divisions for delivery.
• Ensuring steady supply-chain to guarantee operations are not interrupted by shortages/delays.
• Coordinating critical vendor services as construction, electric installations, machine work design, ERP and export services when needed.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of which at least 3 years are in purchasing/procurement for a manufacturing company.
• Excellent analytics skills and attention to details.
• Understands the value of the purchasing team, contract development and the responsibility this job carries.
• Good negotiation skill and supplier sourcing
• Excellent people’s skills with the confidence and intelligence to communicate effectively.
• Candidate has to be a self-motivated, creative, and persistent person with a high sense of initiative.
• Displays indications of high loyalty and integrity.
• Excellent computer literacy is required especially in ERP & Microsoft Office.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Preferably living in Semarang area.
• Able to be positioned in BSB City, Semarang.
