To meet our growing needs, we are currently hiring a SOURCING MANAGER to join our dynamic Sourcing team based in Semarang, Indonesia.
Your mission:
- Classifying suppliers, both existing partners and potential suppliers, based on criteria such as raw material and specialization.
- Regularly evaluating the database and ensuring equitable distribution of tasks among Specialists.
- Source new suppliers based on the company’s specific needs by using RFI and RFQ, monitoring, visiting trade fairs, etc.
- Be the leading point between Tikamoon and the pool of suppliers and ensure the proper execution of contracts.
- Resolve any commercial, financial, time and delay disputes with the suppliers.
- Manage and provide effective monitoring of the supplier’s performance through rating and assessment.
- Make annual reviews and lead negotiations.
- Work on the Cost Break Down in coordination with other departments in order to challenge the suppliers and work open book with them.
- Empowering and training Specialists to possess the necessary capabilities and capacities in line with their assigned tasks.
- Serving as the primary source of information for all matters related to Sourcing in the region.
- Providing information and presenting alternative solution choices for the Company’s Sourcing activities.
- Ensuring team harmony to align with the Company’s objectives and strategies.
- Make periodical and clear reports to Direct Manager.
Our Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sourcing Manager in the Furniture Industry in Indonesia is a must.
- Minimum bachelor degree or relevant experience in Furniture Industry.
- Profficient in business-level English is a must.
- Material knowledge, understanding of different matterials used in furniture manufacturing, including their characteristics and applications.
- Ability to assess and classifiy suppliers based on criteria
- Cost Analysis and Data Analysis, with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Understand the enteire woodworking process in the Furniture Industry in general (including materials: core, supports, and accessories).
- Have a good negotiation skill.
