Key Responsibilities:
- Color Development: Work closely with color development and customer during the color development stages.
- Color Evaluation: Perform visual and instrumental color assessments to ensure products meet color accuracy standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor and assess color consistency throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished goods.
- Color Trends: Stay updated on color trends and innovations in the market and ensure they are reflected in product development.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of color standards, SAP System updates and client communications as per the ISO 9001:2015 standard
- Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams (dye house, production, and related parties) to ensure color quality is maintained throughout all processes.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve color discrepancies during production runs and problem-solving analysis.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a colorist or in a similar role, preferably in the fashion, textile, or garment manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of color theory and experience using color measurement tools.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, AATCC, etc.) and laboratory practices is a plus.
