About the role
We are seeking a talented Mandarin Translator to join our dedicated team at PT SUMMIT TRAVEL GOODS’ in Jepara, Central Java. As a full-time Mandarin Translator, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between our company and our Chinese partners and clients.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide accurate and high-quality translations of various business documents, including contracts, marketing materials, and internal communications, from Mandarin to Bahasa Indonesia and vice versa.
- Liaise with our Chinese partners and clients to ensure clear and effective communication, addressing any language-related queries or issues.
- Assist with the interpretation of verbal discussions and negotiations, enabling productive meetings and discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and appropriate use of terminology and idioms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest translation techniques, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the company’s data protection policies.
What we’re looking for
- Fluency in both Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience as a professional translator, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality translations within agreed timelines.
- Proficiency in using translation software and tools to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy and quality in your work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability and the willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
